...Because we're friends

I may sound "in love" with this kind of blog I'm posting but I see nothing wrong in being in love or wanting someone (to be safe). I've posted these poems (from adoringyou.com) some 2 years ago in my previous blog in Blogspot.com. Accidentally, I came across with my blog, again, after two years. I'm surprised that it still "alive" even without me managing it and realize that I have at least 4 blogs in Blogspot still working until now...

Going back to the issue of being in love, it's really hard to fall for a friend. This is because of familiarity. I hate to sound cheesy right now so I'm going to cut my discussion. I'm planning to write a full blast blog about it next time. I wouldn't say it's very relevant to my situation as of the moment because saying so might be misquoted by my friends especially my officemates as they keep on pushing and teasing me with another officemate of ours. Let's now read the poem below and stop giving details about it...

Because We're Friends
by Jay Miller

I think you’re beautiful
But I can’t tell you
I like the way you laugh
But I can’t tell you
I like the way you talk
But I can’t tell you
I like the way you wear your dress
I think you are the best
I like the way you sing along
To our favorite song
But I can’t tell you
I like the way you say your mind
Then stop, an ask for mine
I like the way you chew your gum
And when we through the daises run
But I can’t tell you
I like the way you start the fight
And then are first to make it right
I like the sparkle in your eye
And when I wink at you, you giggle like your shy
I like the way we sit and talk
About all that’s in our heart
I like the way you like me
And accept me for who I am
I like the way I want to change
And be a better man
I love you but I can’t tell you.

Crush
by Michelle Brooks

When I look at you my heart starts to race.
My head is spinning, I'm lost in your gaze.
I know nothing of the world around me,
Life is just a blur.
Your presence consumes me.
I think of your face, your laugh, your smile,
I hang on your every word.
You control my thoughts, possess my dreams.
I long for your embrace.
Not a day goes bye when I don't think of you.
If only you knew.

If Only
by Matt Kaczmarski

In the dark,
I live and die;
Feel the emotions
Inside

Keep them there
Do not tell
Who could care
I'll go to hell

But a light keeps
Shining through
And emotions seep
Into you

Do you feel it,
This feeling in me?
What is it that
You cannot see?

Is it true?
Is it right?
Can I see you
Tonight?
All I have,
All I am
Is in these words;

If only I could say them
To you.

Thinking Of You
by Anganiesha Gilliam

I wonder if you wake up at night
Thinking about me like the way I do you.
I think about your smile and how you make me laugh
I appreciate everything that you do

We spend time together you make me feel good
I told you that you had the right things to say
baby you are my shining star and I’ll always be your sunshine
Do you think that I want it any other way

We talk everyday and talk every night and
We never run out of things to say
I wish you were here I’m playing our song
Being with you always takes me away

I love being around you I just want you to know
It’s like I’m higher than a flying kite
I can’t wait to see you, I have to wait for now
Until then I’m going to saying good night.

…Beyond the spoken words
by John Pilola

Let the emotion deafens you,
If you don’t seem to understand,
Let my tears carry you
To a place where voice takes no part
A place where the acts do the loudest talking,
Where the acts do the hardest explaining.

Let every stares bother you
If clues are hard to find
Let my glances struck your mind,
Have your visions impaired; be blind
Because words from the teary eyes
Have drift and move to cry.

Can’t you just listen to the wind?
The echoes, the moans it bring
Reverberations of stories never told
Where in time they’ll unfold?

Can’t you just read into my eyes?
Those weary look from a lonely guy
The lexis of a tongue-tied man
Where languages all have gone?

Sensibility beyond the spoken words
Unexplainable to puerile,
Yet communicates the deepest thoughts-
What the words deny, the actions testify;
What the lips conceal, the eyes reveal-
From then, you would know just how I feel.
